About North Seattle Neighbors for Peace & Justice
Our group was formed in January, 2003 by neighbors who had attended a SNOW Coalition meeting. We have continued to grow, learn, and take action since then. We are officially affiliated with the SNOW Coalition.
We are an all-volunteer group consisting of neighbors who are concerned about war and injustice everywhere. Our members live in the Greenwood, Broadview, Haller Lake, and Northgate neighborhoods in North Seattle. We have over 100 neighbors on our main e-mail list, and generally meet weekly on Saturday mornings. Our primary focus is to engage, inform, and involve citizens in our neighborhoods in the peace movement and the political process.
