1. Report from last week's vigilling: 6 people were at 130th, need help for tomorrow at 130th.

2. Concerns were raised re legal issues of stealing political signs.

3. Potluck Discussion:
-Marie has flyers in sets of 50 available today; donation of $6 requested
-Extended discussion re venue as it came to light that another group had already spoken for the fellowship hall and we would need to use an upstairs space. Elaine, Charles, Marie and Eric agreed to go to the church after the meeting and decide how to resolve the question of whether this will really serve our needs adequately.
-There will be a display table. Barbara will prepare a handout about informational resources
-We agreed to designate seating according to neighborhoods. Nancy will make sign-in sheet and table signs
-We agree to use nametags which Marie will bring.

4. Extended discussion re objective of the potluck. 1)Grow neighborhood movement; 2)find new ways to have impact, especially with media; 3) reach sympathetic people, especially ones who are isolated; 4) convince fence-sitters (gently!). We agreed to avoid setting a strong agenda and to primarily focus on networking and conversation.

5. Weekly meetings-Gunnel committed to continuing to host weekly neighborhood meetings at 9:00 on Sat.

6. Other potluck details re food: Cold drinks-Eric, Nancy, Gunnel, ice chest-Barbara, hot cider-Barbara and me; Salads: Gunnel, Barbara; hotdish: Nancy and Vicki; dessert: Elaine, Eric.
-Elaine will bring table clothes; Gunnel-No War sign on a stake for outside; everyone will bring candles for the tables-pillar or candlesticks and holders.

7. Finally, we broke into smaller neighborhood groups to delegate how to distribute the flyers.

Next meeting: Sat. 1/18 at Gunnel and Abe's at 9:00.
