Representatives for ca 20 neighborhoods were present at the first meeting for neighborhood representatives, with one or two members from each neighborhood present.

Discussion followed about activities of the SNOW community and what could be done to improve and strengthen SNOW. SNOW organizer thought SNOW neighborhood group activity is picking up due to the worsening situation in Iraq.

SNOW is revising its bylaws and the meeting discussed and voted on the proposed change in voting rules.

There were two suggestions put forth by the bylaws committee.

  • Three votes by the representative of a neighborhood, plus one vote per individual member. Representative would be elected by the neighborhood.
  • One vote per neighborhood, no vote for individual members.

The majority voted for the three + one vote proposal.

This proposal will?ow presented to the general meeting for ratification.
