Notes from meeting 1/17/04:

Attendance: Charles, Eric, Abe, Gunnel, Janet, Judy, Tom, Kay, Jean, Virginia

Registration tabling:

Bitterlake Community Center reserved for NSNPJ the week of 1/19 for a test-run. Janet to run the table Wednesday, 1/21 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM. Judy to run the table on Thursday, 1/22 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Kay, Friday, 1-23.

Broadview Library meeting room reserved all day on Saturday, 1/31 from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

Registration canvassing:

Keep a mental count of how many people you register!

Give potential registrants the options to mail in their own registration form or leave it with NSNPJ to send in within 7 days (postmarked).

Ask people who are peace-inclined if they're interested in the March 20th event

Leave North Seattle flyer for interested parties.

Need to make "Register To Vote" signs for Bitterlake Community Center & Broadview Library!

Janet to take SNOW flyer and "Make A Difference" flyer to Broadview Library.

MLK Day at Garfield High School:

SNOW groups to meet at north side of Garfield before march

Benefit Concert for SNOW:

Gunnel has tix, $15 apiece

The Roadshow Goes To West Seattle on Sunday, 1/25! Be there or be square!

Fundraiser for Bert Sachs on Saturday, 1/24:

Meet at Abe & Gunnel's on Saturday, 1/24 at 9:00 AM. Meeting to discuss canvassing and tabling voter registration progress. Meeting adjourns at 9:30 for carpooling to Bert Sachs fundraiser at Methodist church on 15th Ave & 45th St (University of Washington, (located across the street from the UDub bookstore).
